[Oika Part II] Extending Ecology: An Oika Project for Personal and Planetary Prosperity

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Oika is a way of feeling, being, and participating with the world. It knows no county lines, no city limits. In this Q+A, artist Rita Leduc discusses her Oika project, "Extending Ecology," an ongoing collaboration between an ecologist, an artist, and an experimental forest. She shares how the team's curious, careful commitment to a forest in New Hampshire, USA, has offered them meaning and direction in unprecedented times.

*This Skills Session is Part II of two Oika Skills Sessions, however, Part I is not a prerequisite for attendance to Part II.

*For an introduction to the science, philosophy, and practice of Oika, please attend the virtual Oika Skills Session, "[Oika Part I] Introducing Oika: Deep Ecological Prosperity for People, Place & Planet" taking place on April 22.
