Aquatic biologist
I am an aquatic biologist and science communicator from Latvia, Europe. I am interested in finding how through art and storytelling we can do more diverse and collaborative water ecosystem research and protection.
A few words about my background - I am a member of research team who is doing ecosystem wide studies of Latvian lakes and rivers. For the last ten years we have been consulting municipalities on how to manage water resources within and across their administrative territories. Two years ago I decided to widen my perspective as a biologist - I started a B.A. in Culture and art studies at the Latvian Academy of Culture.
