Welcome to the Nature of Cities Festival 2024! A gathering to get inspired, to learn, to present, collaborate, or to meet hundreds of new best friends and urban nature co-conspirators. The Berlin segment is an all-inclusive multi-day experience featuring field-trips, in person talks, workshops, art interventions, a film festival, Farm-to-Table dinners, various opportunities for socializing, and much more. All of it takes place at the Atelier Gardens venue, and various other locations around Berlin.

Martha FAJARDO is a Colombian architect and landscape architect with a master's degree in landscape design and honoris causa Doctor of Letters (DLitt) from Sheffield University. She is the CEO of Grupo Verde, specializing in landscape architecture, urbanism, and urban design. Martha co-founded and served as the first President of the Colombian Society of Landscape Architects (SAP). She also held the position of President of the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), spearheading initiatives in Africa and expanding membership to India and China. Martha is a co-founder and chair of the Latin American Landscape Initiative (LALI), dedicated to safeguarding Latin American landscapes through collaboration across sectors. Additionally, she sits on the Board of Directors of Nature of Cities (TNOC), advocating for resilient, sustainable, and just urban environments worldwide.
