Welcome to the Nature of Cities Festival 2024! A gathering to get inspired, to learn, to present, collaborate, or to meet hundreds of new best friends and urban nature co-conspirators. The Berlin segment is an all-inclusive multi-day experience featuring field-trips, in person talks, workshops, art interventions, a film festival, Farm-to-Table dinners, various opportunities for socializing, and much more. All of it takes place at the Atelier Gardens venue, and various other locations around Berlin.

Nourhan is the director of GamingX, an urban activation and placemaking organisation based in Amsterdam. Nourhan is "The Gendered City." Author a book that was purchased in 23 countries around the world and discusses wide topics of gender equality in cities. As a feminist urbanist, Nourhan is committed to fostering equitable and inclusive communities through placemaking and active citizen participation. With a Ph.D. in urban design and placemaking, specialising in sustainable communities, resilient cities, and placemaking, her primary focus is on exploring innovative concepts that promote community engagement and empowerment within the built environment. Nourhan founded the FEM.DESIGN Network, which spans across more than 50 cities worldwide. This network aims to develop design guidelines and tools for creating feminist cities while connecting and supporting creators who advocate for gender equality. Through this initiative, Nourhan seeks to advance the cause of feminist urbanism on a global scale.
Additionally, she serves as a supervisor for Master's students undertaking theses related to urban design, placemaking, and urban identities.
